I am directing Failure: A Love Story by Philip Dawkins at the SRSU's outdoor summer theatre, Theatre of the Big Bend. Come take in the beautiful views and a charming show. Philip will be visiting for an audience Q & A and leading a playwriting workshop for our students.
November 2020:
Sul Ross Theatre program proudly presents fourteen commissioned new works by playwrights Liz Coronado Castillo, Philip Dawkins, Liz Morgan, Erik Patterson, Linnea Valdivia, Lizzie Vieh, and Sul Ross students Avery Callaway and Brian Phillip Welch, starring students from the Sul Ross Theatre program. Fall 2020:
Started a new job as an Assistant Professor of Theatre (tenure-track) at Sul Ross State University in Alpine,Texas. Commissioned and produced 14 short plays about Texans dealing with the pandemic.
Spring 2020:
Continuing to teach at Northern Kentucky University as a Lecturer.

Happy to be back for my second year of working with their students as Adjunct Professor at Northern Kentucky University (Audition Technique, Acting I, Creative Expression) and Miami University at Hamilton and Oxford campuses (Acting for Non-majors).

Directed and co-produced the second annual Queen City Pride Cabaret hosted by Cincinnati Shakespeare Company. Great turn out to raise funds for Proud Scholars a non-profit that is doing great work in the LGBTQ community.
Once again, had the pleasure of returning to teach at Great Lakes Michael Chekhov Consortium as an Associate Teacher. A great week-long intensive for Educators and Professional Actors in Michael Chekhov Technique. There is a Teacher Certification track and an Actor track. The program runs the first week of every June at the University of Mount Union. Contact me for any questions.

When we were in La Pine the Bend Bulletin did a nice story (with video) about our work with the students there, check it out here. When we were in Corvallis the Gazette Times did a piece on our teaching there.

I will be joining Oregon Shakespeare Festival as a teaching artist with their School Visit Program. We will perform a devised piece on Dramatic Literature and an abridged Hamlet as well as teaching workshops throughout Oregon. Cannot wait to work with this company.

I have been invited to be an Associate Artist with Great Lakes Michael Chekhov Consortium. Please contact me for more information about signing up for Module 1. There are three modules if you want to become certified to teach the technique, it is a one week intensive every June currently hosted at University of Mount Union in Ohio. It is very affordable, room and board included, there are also payment plans! The Michael Chekhov Technique continues to be source of inspiration for me as an artist and teacher.

I was asked to co-produce this installment of Shotz with Amios with Artistic Director Justin Yorio. The theme is Shotz for Justice. Shows at 7 and 8:30pm at the Kraine Theatre. This collective of artists is a great group and artistic home for me. More details to come! Like Amios on FB for updates.

We raised money for Partly Cloudy People and for Safe Horizon's Streetworks Program, including f250 hot meals and 100 hours of emergency hotline staffing.

- Upcoming workshop at VASTA in Chicago 2016, if you're going to VASTA this summer, join us for "Sound Chek: Chekhov Technique and Voice!" co-presented with my colleagues Jennifer Tuttle and Susan Cato-Chapman.
- Partly Cloudy People hosting a writing retreat for the seedling project in July. Our five playwrights have written some amazing pieces and we are eager to hear them aloud. The show will take place in NYC this fall.

Spring 2016:
- The Seedling and Partly Cloudy People are collaborating on a new play based on interviews about unplanned pregnancy. Our artistic staff has been assembled and over 30 interviews conducted, our writers are working this spring to create their first drafts. A benefit production will take place in fall of 2016 in NYC. We are having a performance of Sarah Smiles to benefit the Seedling project on April 2nd at the Pit in NYC. Come join us for a great afternoon!.

I am honored to be co-producing and directing a scene for this benefit event! Join us for an afternoon of cocktails and storytelling by some of New York's most inspiring artists as they share what pride means to them through song, music, comedy and play. A portion of proceeds will go to Safe Horizon's Streetwork project which provides support to homeless youth, many of whom identify as LGBT. What better way to kick off your Pride festivities? Plus raffling off some fabulous items!

Recent directing gigs:
- I directed for the May 4th installment of The Shotz Guide to Survival with a play written by David Jenkins and the acting talents of Alia Guidry and Ashley Grombol, part of the monthly night of shorts produced by Amios at the Kraine Theatre the first Monday of every month, shows at 7pm and again at 8:30pm. Come on out.
- May 18th I directed two 10 minute plays for Athena Writes. A night of 10 Minute Plays produced by Athena Theatre Company. I directed one play written by Sarah Kinsey and one by Veronique Ory. Shotz and CWRU/CPH alumni were part of the casts! At Theatre Row.
February 2015:
Directed a short for They're Playing Our Shotz called On My Own by Allyson Morgan with Sarah Nedwek, Sam Hicks and Meghan Hoffman bringing the comedy.
December 2014:
Assistant directed for Tim Koch on a reading of Peter Skinner's new play The Edge of Farallon. It was a great week long rehearsal process with a lovely cast of Carla Gugino, Fred Weller, Larry Bryggman and Dustin Ingram.
November 2014:
Received a Broadway World Nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Play for my work on Other Desert Cities at Vermont Stage. My cast mates, Director, Designers and the Production all received nominations! Congrats Vermont Stage!

July 2014:
I will be directing a short play called "here is what I remember" written by Zoe Farmingdale as part of Shotz! Amios is a great group of theatre artists in NYC who create short plays every month and perform them the first Monday night of the month at the Kraine Theatre. They pull from a pool of actors, writers, directors to create these new works each month. Super excited to be part of July's Shotz. Like their page on the FB Amios/Shotz if you want updates!
May 2014:
I was happy to be the Assistant Director on Mastodon Theatre's Elemeno Pea at Access Theatre here in NYC. The production was extremely well attended and the playwright Molly Smith Metzler was a great supporter of it, contributing a great talk back after a sold out performance.
April 2014: I was thrilled to work as an acting coach on a production of Hayfever at City College of NY, I worked with the cast on character creation using Michael Chekhov tools. The students were very enthusiastic and I had a great time working with Professor Jennifer Tuttle on her wonderfully received directing debut at CCNY. Winter 2014, Vermont Stage Company
